Why do you believe everything Obama says when he is a known liar, on nearly every political topic important to the nation? It's obvious why he lied, he lied to help his chances of being re-elected. "look America, I care enough about people dying in Libya that I'm willing to risk the lives of our servicemen and women to prevent it". Don't I look noble, caring and compassionate? Every decision he makes is about Obama, not the county, not for the service of his fellow man, but about Obama. Team Obama saw the poll numbers crashing, figured they had little to stand on regarding domestic politics, so they concluded the downside risk in Libya was small, while the upside was potentially high. If Gadaffi fell, Obamatrons would claim credit for preventing a genocide, and label Gadaffi the great satan that's been driven from power by Obama's amazing foreign policy strategy, with little bloodshed. The liberal press would then hail him as the greatest leader in modern times, who has now earned the Nobel Peace Prize for saving millions of Libyans' from certain death. The estimates on casualties would climb into the millions, the press would then uncover vast killing fields in Libya (which no doubt exist) and show them nightly transposed with a picture of Obama rescuing their children from the clutches of butchering knife throwing Gadaffi madmen! What's stunning is there are so many people like you who were fooled into electing him, and are still able to be fooled time and time again. Again, why do you believe what he says? BTW, I'm not taking anything "personal", I'm simply calling your logic and judgement into question regarding criticism of the right wing and members of this board, that you clearly took aim at regarding Libya. Labelling my post a "diatribe" appeared to me that you took the post too personal.
