Mohan,

The strong bounce from SPX 900 confirmed once more that that support is the ultimate test.

I'm bullish for next week, OEX target 910-915 in 4-5 days.
Monday should start slow, possibly down most of the day and up after lunch.
Tue strong, Thu strong and manic.

The bear will resume after expiration Fri.
I'm that close to close MSFT dec. Any upside Mon on this stock I'll be out.

Have a good weekend.

Mohan, I think you are wrong about holding Dec index puts (unfortunately, I didn't dump quite all of mine yesterday morning.) They started their death spiral today, actually yesterday afternoon. The volitility premium is now going to evaporate so fast it will make your head spin, unless the market has a big downdraft day next week.

Even sending a few airmail packages to Saddam would probablly be viewed as a positive for the market - hey, he might get killed in the melee. I don't know if you saw last Sunday's Meet the Press, but 'ole George Stephanopoulos was advocating assassination of Saddam!

Can't say that I agree with much of anything that Stephanopoulos has ever had to say, but it might have been a good thing if he had been around Bush during the closing days of Desert Storm. -ng-
