Restoring the ban would not be a revolutionary policy shift, but a return to the status quo of many years.

Dems are so not on the right side of this issue. Polls consistently show the public do not want tax dollars used to fund abortions. Harry Reid is nuts.

This is so minor. Why couldn't they leave it alone?

It's the same with the whole Planned Parenthood issue. Same old social conservative issues getting in the way. It's the economics, stupid. Stick to the economics.

The GOP sure knows how to lose.
