What a bunch of blather. This is not philosophy. Your author apparently believes stringing together a bunch of vague concepts passes for metaphysics. Socrates would have torn her to shreds. You should realize that language & philosophy are inseperable; if you don't watch your language, you'll lead your thinking on wild goose chases. Kind of like Descartes, with his I think, therefore I am. Or Freud with his armies of the night. Course, that's just my own thinking. But that's why I prefer a good story teller, like Tolstoy, to grandiose lecturers. Those who know don't need explanations.
