Good point Mqurice, my screen is not visible in bright sunshine. I heard that Qualcomm has a product called mirasol which uses reflected light to illuminate the screen, like a piece of paper does, and that they are building an $800 million factory in China to produce them. The cost is low but the price need not be as everyone will want one and there seem not to be much in the way of competitors though there are plenty of black and white e-ink devices. Mq
