When Bernie Lo pitches his Straight Talk program on CNBC every weekend, it is there for all to see what HK's atmosphere is really made up of these days, esp. vs quietly-getting-on-with-it Singapore, so your 'images' are just like some of those fake things increasingly produced in your neck of the.....err....world.

To be sure, I had dinner with one of your imported judges some 4 years ago, and he was from down under. After a few glasses of wine, he told us your 'rocking' HK legal system is entirely temporal in nature, and highly 'flexible' on interpreting what is adopted from that infamous source of everything that is good and bad about VVV, Britain (and its colonies).

It's disconcerting to think that Germans voted for Adolf and NZ has voted itself from a position akin to Hong Kong to a position more like Portugal in less than a single generation and the trend continues apace <re freedom, we must broadcast freedom, especially to folks under the mistaken impression that they have any and keep funding voa to reiterate same

we must de-confuse people re freedom vs rights, rule of law vs rule by making up silly and sillier laws
>

In less than a single generation, NZ has gone from NZers saying "Let's take a trip to Hong Kong to go shopping" to Hong Kongese saying "Should we buy NZ with our pocket money or something more exciting and less criminally contaminated?"
