<<This never started as a pr meeting it started as a fact finding mission becouse the stock was falling and we were losing our confidence>>

The beauty of an intellectual forum of individuals united by a common goal is that ideas can grow. My original post was designed to potentially provide a solution to the lack of information that was being provided. We are united in our belief that this is an outstanding company with a very bright future. WE DID NOT SELL. We are here for the long haul. We believe in management. With all the misinformation that has been spread about Cymer since Labor Day, I see nothing wrong in some positive PR, and hopefully obtain some answers along the way.

What harm do you see coming from this meeting? Your last several posts have not spelled out your concerns at all.

Apple:

I'm not interested in making suggestions, demands, buybacks or anything inkling of telling the company how to run the show. If it is I WITHDRAW my shares.

My take on this meeting is two fold: 1) to show support for the company (if it can be used for PR great) and 2) to get any info about the company good or bad that I didn't know.

Yes, I want it for my confidence. It alway helps to reaffirm that one made a good investment especially when one is down. I expect to get nothing more then I already know. I strongly believe I've made a great investment here.

>>>Quite incorrect in your analogy.<<<

There was no analogy.

>>>As a group this shouild have been done b4 an investment was ever made in a company.<<<

I'll humor you... And what would have been the point?

>>>The need to do this now is a sure sign that the people who constantly scream this company from the tallest tree are now unsure about there gut feelings. This never started as a pr meeting it started as a fact finding mission becouse the stock was falling and we were losing our confidence.<<<

Spare me the attempt at psychoanalysis. Apparently, the only person losing their confidence and/or unsure about his/her position in Cymer, is you. I have been trading and/or long this stock for almost 6 months now. I have no intent of selling my long position until Dec 98 or my tentative target of $50, whichever comes first. If I was worried at all about Cymer, I would dump my long shares in a heartbeat and just daytrade.

>>>I feel that when a group wants to do something together there will be a flaw.<<<

You are surely welcome to feel that way.

>>>Do you stop at accidents to see what happened<<<

Depends...fender-bender, or a crash-and-burn??

>>>do you stand in a line becouse everyone else is!<<<

Sure do...at the DMV and supermarket checkout.
