Since the budget deal was only reached after markets closed for the weekend, and everything I read seems to point to an even more intense pitchfork fight both between the 2 parties as well as within the GOP, is it not safe to conclude there will be more uncertainty and lots of noise, but little firm action to lead financial markets to calmer waters?

If this were the case, will it not be left to Uncle Ben to handle this, and if so, is it not safe to conclude that markets will continue to be volatile across the world, which must surely be extremely bullish for precious metals?
