The jockeying for position on the post collapse era is already happening. We must look to the actions of the major players in the past years, and presently, to see what they want to be in post-2015. Germany's been already repositioning for the past decade. And they have managed nicely towards CORE EUROPE. Germans know that PIGS will go and will become PERIPHERY EUROPE. Germans will not make the necessary moves now. They will make their moves as the time passes. Game theory. They will be shifting their positions as the time passes to gain advantages. France wants to be part of CORE EUROPE. Germany will agree and will bond Scandinavians, Dutch, Belgiums in the CORE EUROPE and EURO+ their currency. France's assertiveness in Libya and Ivory Coast case is to show it can do military things Germans cannot do. YET. This will come handy for CORE EUROPE to have a hired gun. France also shows to US they are not cheese eating cowards. They also can go and do anachronic gun-boating, if it is in their interests. We all must look to these next 5-6 years as preparations for the positioning for the outcomes post 2015. This is the 'Beyond' on the title of this thread.
