It depends what you are looking for. The WII kind of sucks graphics wise, but it rules when it comes to motion sensor controls and related games. When it come to graphics and speed of those graphics playstation beats out X Box, but you might never notice the difference. So you could essentially call it a toss up between the two. If you want it all, you will have to buy a WII and Playstation or X Box. Also IMHO, a high end PC can make just as good of a gaming system as a X Box or a Playstation. What you lose with a PC is basically ease of use and maybe bang for the buck (they underprice the consoles and make money by selling the games), but bang for the buck doesn't matter if you are using the PC for other stuff besides gaming. Also the PC games can be cheaper if you are patient, which might make up for the more expensive system cost eventually. At my house we have a WII for the motion sensor games and use PCs for other gaming. Now that the novelty has worn off, the PCs get used way more, but the WII is still liked somewhat.
