Opposing restraint on trade is not saying "corporations can do anything they want". Its saying that the government should not get in the way of competition, or suppress trade.

For example if a company was going to poison you by dumping highly toxic waste in your neighborhood that wouldn't be trade with you it would be an attack against you. Stopping it, or punishing the people who do it would not be a restraint on trade, as I use the term.
