Who is the customer for the vetting? Who ordered the Vetting and who had the power to disqualify Obama if he flunked?

Please do not begin your answer with the words "I assume".

There is no vetting that is my whole point.....if there were, show me Reagan's documents. By FOIA it should be available now. I'll wait.

The FBI doesn't do background checks on political candidates for office. All you have to do is call the FBI information center and ask. They don't do it.

An FBI special agent confirmed on a radio interview that the FBI doesn't vett candidates for office.

The FEC doesn't do it. The parties don't do it. Nobody does it. There is no federal agency or authority tasked with verifying the candidates' qualifications to run for President. The FEC says it is the job of State elections boards to check qualifications.

Surprising, I know. Shocking, for sure.
