TT-

<then have the intellectual honesty to do the same with
your trades that don't work out.>

I do not know much about your personal life because you rarely speak of it.

However, one can read between the lines of your posts. It is possible to see the sincerity that is part and parcel of Tom Trader. It is seen in the advice that you give to people. It is seen in your HONEST humility. It is seen in your conduct.

I have seen you lose alot of money per contract and I have seen you make alot of money per contract on the futures. I have seen you make money on stocks and options. I have seen you lose money on stock and options. You never practice "slight of hand".

No one on SI could ever accuse you of not being "intellectually honest" NO ONE!

I can only aspire to have the wisdom and the character and the abilities of you, my beloved Father Time Nemer, and Kevin.

Regards,

Lisa

TT- The best backtrader on SI- Pseudonym with no e-mail and backtrading- strange combination? Have you ever felt that by hiding behind curtain of annoymity what do you get to go after Ike who has the moral courage to 'ridicule' Saddam with his name and house and e-mail known to everyone.

Chill out-What 'intellectual honesty' you talk about- you don't have the moral courage to let people know who you are?

You want to be credible and open for accountiblity, post like Ike under your real name and we shall see what you have to say- at the moment you are unknown trader like an unknown soldier who happens to be always right. You go long when market is up and short when market is down. Great trading skills, you know what is this called 'backtrading'. You are TT the 'backtrader. I encourage the thread to read TT posts. Your 12th Nov post on this thread is remarkable thanksgiving rally, I think it came a bit early. I can see whats hurting him.

I think this exchange between Tom and Iqbal demonstrates one outstanding quality about this thread: it did not escalate into a "freee-for-all" flame war, despite the intensity of the exchange.

I remember challenging a person on a thread here on SI who was evidentally considered the "guru". There were those on the thread that command the highest respect and adulation for their "guru" from others on the thread. My challenge was in an area of technology I am very familliar with, and this "guru" was evidentally speaking outside of his are of expertise albiet in a related area. Boy, the thread quickly degenerated into a high school gang blowout, and yes, there was a leader of the pack. What occurred were some of the most immature exchanges that I have come across on the Internet in quite a while, and I have been here on the Internet for well over 10 years. I thought I came across allot of "young" posters until I found out their leader was in his 30's. Increadible!

Fortunately, this thread seems to be able to keep away from this type of narcasistic mindlessness. So I want to acknowledge Iqbal and Tom Trader, and others here for their efforts to keep this exchange a reasonably civilized one.

Still, I want to make one comment here. Please stick with what a person says and not focus on what you think amounts to their personality flaw. Then it begins to come across personal. Lets stay with discussing stocks and the market. Anything else should be taken elsewhere, or offline. Just my opinion here.

BTW, does anyone here think the Dow will revisit 7000 before starting to rally? Who thinks we will not see above 8000 until next year? How about a year-end rally? Just soliciting for some observations here.
