WOW IS THAT CHEAP... Ontario (not the priciest Canuck province for sure) Ontario .147/litre Ontario Fuel tax.. Federal .10/litre excise tax Ontario 13% HST (VAT Tax 5% Fed 8% Provincial) on base price excluding above taxes Well not exactly since Quebec although 'harmonized' with feds calculated their portion of VAT tax on federal portion also .. Some cities like Montreal and Vancouver have a municipal level excise tax on gasoline also.. The per litre costs ... multiply by 3.78 to get per/US gal cost..
