So how much of the flash memory is currently being used.
Isn't there a possibility that code will expand or change in size
when the standard is implemented.

Nothing is plug n play. I had to return my USRX 28.8 plug 'n play. modem and buy a best data - wouldn't work no matter what port, IRQ,
download I used. Consumers and ISP's are no longer going
to be fleeced by marketing hypes. Get a standard and the fear
real or percieved will go away. You don't have to be a rocket
scientist to realize that sales across the board are dropping
because of the standards deadlock. I'm not buying a non-standard
modem also because one day I may need to switch ISP's. I'm not
going to spend 3 weekends installing modems like the 28.8 experience.

Don't get me wrong, I have some shares from the USRX days, it's
my personal belief that sales for usrx, coms, bay, zoom, lu, cisco,
would be 15 to 30% higher if there was a standard.
