thanks for posting that. The Seeking alpha author did some nice work rounding up a few silver plays. Howeveer, he is wrog in what he says about US Silver being in proximity to coeur and hecla. yes proximity to one old hecla property called lucky friday, but i think coeur's silver valley properties became the basis for us silver's current operation.

all that said, no reason why one of them couldn't make a pass at U.S. silver now that prices are so much higher and now that us silver has done all this work consolidating, connecting tunnels underground, rehabbing old shafts, etc.

they own a real nice bunch of properties, and as i have said here earlier, i don't see how it could be replaced for less than $1 billion, and even that woudl be tough. so with a current market cap of $200 million or so, USSIF.PK/USA.V is a value play in my book.
