Since so many want to continue the Birther discussion, I have relented. However, please don't fight about it! We don't know enough to have a lot of discussion.

Thanks, Bill. Will try to stay on current events - Trump is adding news to the picture. So is the State of Hawaii if they really just changed the rules so nobody can get their long form birth certificate.

To me, the significance of the birther issue is not where Obama was born, which I believe was Hawaii, but is the lead-in to the whole "do you know who this guy really is?" issue. If Obama is willing to spend millions to avoid coming clean on releasing his birth certificate, if he just got the State of Hawaii to prevent any citizen from finding out what hospital he was born in, what does that say about what else Obama might be willing to hide?

I can't believe some PI hasn't bribed a clerk yet to get a look.
