Everything else they claim was done by the people they overran. Yep, just ask the Assyrians. Once Islam takes over creativity stops and is repressed.

The Histories claiming Civilization "Flowering" under Islam are Phony. They built great churches by modifying the ones of the Civilizations they conquered or building new ones. But that's it. Everything else they claim was done by the people they overran. The conquerors were civilized by the conquered. That is the one kind of cultural transmission that Islam is comfortable with. One of the big divides between Islam and Europe is Europe's willingness to learn from 'the heathen' and trade with them.
