CBO: Budget deal cuts this fiscal year’s deficit by just $353 million, not $38 billion touted Hugh Hewitt, who was ambivalent on the deal yesterday, turned against it today. Gotta give this round to Mark Levin, who called the deal a scam on Saturday. The Federal budget is like a ship chugging downriver right towards the top of Niagara Falls. The Republican leadership boasted Friday, Look! We turned the ship around! The Tea Party response is: But you didn't turn on the engine, so we are still drifting downriver.
