Well, Not wanting to rile up the posters on this thread anymore than I already have, and wondering if I'm really ready for the deluge of postings I'm bound to get by posting this, I found this written on a blog that addressed the whole when does life begin question. I think she makes some interesting points. In addition to her writing on the subject, I read that at one time the Catholic church had determined that the soul entered the fetus at 40 days after conception. I don't know the full history on this, but I think it's interesting that the idea of when separate life begins has changed over time. MY OWN ANSWER FOR WHEN LIFE BEGINS IS I DON'T KNOW. For this reason I would err on the side of caution and not have an abortion and I would counsel others the same.
