I read these arguments about whither abortion is painful for the fetus as being on the same level as worrying about how painful the method of applying the death penalty is. What is the point? Either the death penalty is right or it is wrong. The details of how to apply it should not be part of that discussion. Decide first whither to use it and then sweat the details. In both cases, get it over with quickly. But don't bring it up during the decision of doing the procedure or not. It's not germane. The discussion here should be about the politics of it.
