What changed is the national level of wealth. It has transitioned from a level of wealth to a level of indebtedness.

That hits on two levels. Personal and governmental debt. That one follows the other is to be expected. If Americans really want government debt is to be reduced our attitude on debt needs to change at the personal level.

Coburn said this AM that the US borrows $0.40cents for EVERY dollar it spends....That puts it into the light where even the hard core Grasshoppers should be able to understand the situation!
