I liked your post so much, I thought it should be repeated.

The struggle many are having on the conservative side is electing Obama has caused so much destruction to our country, that our grandkids will still be paying the price. The problem isn't Obama, or those on the far left wignut Baker corner of the world, (we'll always have that fringe 10-20% group). The problem is voters who are so easily manipulated by television news banter, they elected a neophyte President of the United States.

It now appears we have a small group of wishy-washy former Obama supporters posting on the pfp board, trying to tell those who saw the danger coming what policies and prescriptions we should be supporting in the future. The same people who lacked judgement and helped elect a bitter far left liberal, now have the temerity to tell others what is wrong with conservative principles.

I for one will not be jumping on the "thanks for sharing all your wisdom bandwagon" anytime soon. A simple recognition of the lapse in judgement would be nice, coupled with a real attempt to understand conservative principles so Obama and his clan don't get elected again.

Yes, those misbegotten conservative principles that have screwed this country up so badly since its founding... Oh wait, that's not quite right is it....<g>

It isn't just the current administration that is leading us to ruin, it is politicians in general. They tell us one thing and do another. SS for example. KLP says it better than I can upstream from your post. We were told one thing and find out what we were told are just plain lies. This happens and has been happening on a regular basis for years and years and years. The only conclusion I can draw is that we, as a society cannot trust our own politicians. This is the biggest issue we face, and I'm not sure what the American people are going to do about it?
