Meanwhile, governmental waste and incompetence are at their apex and climbing.

There is no logical reason to trust them with more revenues. They have failed their fiduciary responsibilities across the board.

The gov't needs to cut spending. That and give businesses the needed incentives to grow, spend on capital and hire employees. Businesses in the past few decades have adapted by cutting costs, and increasing productivity. Why shouldn't the gov't do the same? It would be a crime for taxpayers to give the gov't more money for them to waste.

You brain-washed lemmings buy into the hype that the ONLY way the gov't can survive is to raise taxes. Well let me tell you something, don't believe the hype!

Federal Taxes are the lowest in the past 60 years

easily made up for by higher state and local taxes and much more onerous regulations. the suffocating big government will get you one way or another.
