Thanks, Alex. No, I never wavered, but instead tried to take the long look and hung onto fiscal common sense about debt not being an asset class. That's mainly been my mantra since I figured that out and cleared debt out of my personal life. This has been a wonderful period of time to accumulate the physical...especially doing the above ground, discarded scrap gold thing I focused on since 1990. I was too young to take financial advantage of the last "gimme" in the invest in gold cheap litany...the closing of the Nixon window. I wasn't even a working stiff at that young time in my life, so I didn't even have cash flow to work with, especially being a girl. Babysitting and allowance and golf caddy jobs just didn't provide the jiggle for the bling. Besides, back then I was interested in silver, not gold. (VBG) Very kind of you to say those nice things, Alex. Thank you. Yes, the chart shows another new high today in this old yeller relic. LOL $1,500 is definitely in sight, and it's not stopping there, fortunately or unfortunately, depending upon one's perspective. There are still bargains to be had in above ground discarded gold. Especially if it is mis-priced or mis-identified. I took delivery of an eBay prime example ystdy. Paid only $500 pto for 38-ish grams of the yellow stuff. Made my day.
