I don't think this is an unreasonable conclusion if you consider the inequities in our health care system...IOW the poor and dispossessed don't get much.

The rest of the industrialized world is doing better mainly because of lifestyle. I love how the French and Italians can eat huge feasts yet not suffer as much obesity thanks to all the walking they have to do.


Greater equality of access and education...that's the key...

I've followed some of the complications that Great Britain, Canada, and South Korea had to endure, and I'm not sure people would be willing to tolerate them here. Maybe you would, but you seem to realize that there is no free lunch.


There are problems in some implementations, but that doesn't mean that they can't be solved. I chose to focus on the things these countries do well and hope that we learn from them.
