I totally agree with your sentiments. A major requirement of any job is that people show up in fit condition. Hope there will be lots of pushback against LaHood, aka "money is no object". Sheesh.......

My Ma retired as an admin officer for the medical division of the FAA very shortly prior to Reagan. She was appalled at the claims she processed for controllers getting early retirement and fat bennies because of "stress".

Once we had a real Pres that flushed that sewer. Didn't last.
