In one of my conversations with my Congressman Pete Stark, he sounded like he did not like Pelosi. Now you probably know how left leaning and blunt Stark is. He is more to the left than her. And he was the only Congressman to call BUsh an idiot on national TV (CNBC). so he calls a spade a spade. The reason he gave for his dislike for Pelosi was that and I paraphrase: "Not every issue needs to be looked at from the political angle. Sometimes you need to look at it from the core beliefs in social justice and upliftment."
