Dave, the "k" is earnings due within 4 weeks and if you see a (-) that means earnings are listed in this issue of IBD. The additional explanations are in a table in the first section, NYSE. I sure wish I could get a copy of earnings released from Friday 17, Oct because my delivery didn't come that day and IBD said 2 different times that the replacement was mailed - bah humbug! If anyone has the issue still around - all I need is the "up" listing to make sure I haven't missed any good potential or current database stocks needing update. I hate to miss a single issue of IBD and haven't missed more than 1/2 dozen the past 7 years. Bruce
