i just went back and looked at a couple of his press conferences. you're so right that he had class. there are a few videos here.. jfk-press-conferences.blogspot.com most are audio only, you need to specifically look for the videos. he was a true statesman that oozed class. i was thinking what a striking difference between him and obama. unfortunately, i just learned he's the one that permitted unions for public employees by executive order. i think that was his biggest mistake as president. on the plus side, lowered taxes and therefore increased tax revenues for the country. and he showed fantastically good judgement during the cuban missile crisis, and reigned in the generals that wanted to attack cuba. we know now that cuba had russian tactical nukes and an invasion would have meant wwIII. he didn't understand economics very well, but he sure loved the country.
