The pure power will become the message and determining factor, IMO. We do not know what computers billions of times more powerful than what we have today will be able to do or will show us. Computers are extensions of our mind. But the big paradigm shift will be when they build quantum computers which will be trillions of times more powerful than what we have now. My guess is that at that point computers will not ony be ablee to think, but also be able to identify intelligence in the universe, which I think is pervasive, but just beyound our ability to perceive.
