Bill - Re: "How to assess AMD future with no V?" Your guess is as good as mine. But don't deny Vin Dham's contribution to AMD's K6. Sanders had Dham on the Dais during the K6 launch praising his (Dham's) contribution to the K6 to no end. Face it - Vin Dham played a major management role in bringing the original Pentium and the K6 from concept to product. AMD has nobody else that can claim any such accomplishments. Now, Greg Favour will undoubtedly be promoted to a more senior management position - leaving a "vacancy" in the engineering team. Paul
