I may have transferred wealth at the margin, but generally the more you put in the more you got out. In addition, the rich tend to take better care of themselves and get better heath care. So they live longer and collect longer. I'm not defending it. I'm just saying the biggest problem is that it was dumb idea from a business/economics point of view. To do what KT wants would be dumber than a rock, but most things he wants are dumber than a rock.
