Yeah being in Canada I've had the luxury of rising loonie... I've done well these last dozen years, gold and miners only sporadically... I'm less sanguine than the likes of oft quoted Trader Dan Norcini on the stocks coming back... I'm a mid boomer, and know lots of middle to upper middle class boomers. Typically I end up talking markets as I am basically retired and living off of trading.. The sentiment when folks know about gold is to go ETF for the stocks but more so to use bullion ETFs.. The lack of company risk advertising seems to be having an effect IMO.. coupled with memories of 2008...

meanwhile now though, the worm appears to be turning in Canada re: inflation.. a record in March bnn.ca is hotter than expected after a hot February... so does our ex Goldman :o) central bank governor Carney, raise soon or not.. considering we have learned nothing in 10 years.. snubbed China and remained 75% trade weighted to you guys...

Wish I knew.. :O) 50% cash here.. and rising
