I know who has always hated Social Security from Day one. I know who has always hated Medicare from Day one. I know who passed these acts. I know who has always believed in welfare for corporations and free enterprise for workers. True, you get a handful crossing party lines, but, in general, Republicrooks love the wealthy and the corporations and hate workers and unions. Democrats, who are far from perfect, are better on these issues. That does not mean that we do not have to find a way to live within our means. It also means you have to give the GOP some stuff because they control the house, due to temporary insanity by the American voter.
