I just visited cpuc.ca.gov and they list about 200 energy
providers who have registered for service. Of course, most are probably local or regional. But that's still a lot of competition.

In an earlier posting, the issue of FSS and pump-n-dump came up.
I looked at some of the stocks publicized by FSS and it would seem
that the stock price rises quickly and then drops. If the company
is legit then the price eventually recovers, otherwise it languishes.
So it would seem to me that there is a strong shorting opportunity
assuming that these stocks can be shorted (does anyone know?).

Also, has anyone looked at CNDS cellnet.com? They are not an energy provider, but they sell wireless metering (so they are a
supplier to utilities).

By the way, I don't hold any shares in KESE or CNDS.
