<Political correctness stopped that.> Ideology stopped that. It cuts both ways. We are a nation of babies, whiners and finger pointers. We are too politically immature to teach other countries much about democracy. The wealthiest nation in the history of mankind is killing and jailing its children while creating a mountain of unpaid bills amidst an orgy of self-indulgence that would have made the Romans stare in disbelief. Ideology -- all of it -- is pandering to a nation of idiots who have no capacity to think in reasonable terms -- and what is more damning is the complete inability of anybody to take even a shred of responsibility for this mess. It is always "THEM" that are the ones who are dirtbags.
