Fifty-two-year-old Lisa Black gave her version of events in a protection-from-abuse order filed Thursday in court. State police have been investigating the episode in which both Black and her 68-year-old husband fell from the 800-foot cliff on Mount Megunticook.

Lisa Black staggered to a road to summon help. Wardens eventually located her husband.

Steve McCausland of the Maine Public Department of Safety says Lisa Black remains hospitalized. Charles Black has been released from the hospital but was in custody late Friday and unavailable for comment.
