Sign of fractions developing within the Republican party. The other candidates trying to isolate Trump, Palin and Bachman who are singing the "birther tune" to please the Tea Party crowd. And then you have the others including Boehner, McConnell with candidates like Romney, Pawlenty etc. who want the Tea Party marginalized by opposing this issue. And Jan Brewer is out there in front for this group.

The US market is wildly exuberant today. Presume they are expecting a stellar earnings season. And the Chinese stocks are going through the roof with BIDU, SINA and SOHU leading the charge.

All this after the S&P downgrade!!!!!
