The new Democratic governor of Hawaii, Neil Abercrombie, actually brought the whole birth certificate thing up again when he promised he would get to the bottom of this and show there was nothing there. Mind you, Abercrombie is a Democrat and a family friend of Obama's. After a couple of months, Abercrombie had to back off, saying the certificate was there but couldn't be released without Obama's permission. Now, how come Obama didn't give his permission? That would certainly be the simplest thing to do. He must be hiding something.
