Ali - Re: "This is a very biased statement."

Your bias is clouding reality. Check the history of AMD and Compaq. It is well documented.

Your laziness to perfrom this simple diligence reflects your own zealot stature of AMD bias.

Re: "but this is not a free market. With upcoming price cuts the things went too far, and the Intel gegemony must be destroyed using a higher regulatory mechanism. "

I LOVE THIS, Ali. I LOVE IT. You bemoan that this is not a FREE market and you advocate "Regulatory Mechanisms" to save the almighty AMD.

Ali - you are calling for a WELFARE sate where the US Government supports those comapnies that cannot compete on their own ability.

Do you think Janet Reno should FORCE Intel engineers to relocate to Fab 25 to SOLVE AMD's yield problems?

Or, maybe Intel should be required to fabricate AMD's K6 in Intel fabs to insure AMD has "equal access" to technology!

You'd better drive on over to Fab 25 and get your PCs back from AMD before they call you up and tell you they won't be able to pay for them!
