They do still need probable cause to do any kind of search. Precisely. That is the law. Meanwhile, reality, four days ago... youtube.com Bottom line: nobody I can think of has the right or need to know what's on your or my phone, no matter how badly we may be driving, riding bikes or walking! Even when we behave like idiots. Still not an excuse to suck our phones dry. In my never humble opinion, local, national or global security has to be at risk, before that should happen.
