You are not the only threader with short term options on AMAT. I have DEC calls - hope for a move up past the earnings announcement. If that doesn't look like it will occur, that position will be history.

Also have the stock and leaps.

Akidron, I do trade short-term also. As a matter of fact, I was caught holding almost empty far Out the Money Novs and Decs. I just play safe with longer-term ones. I'm emphasizing LEAPs to save New comers the unpleasant experience of being caught holding an empty bag while still learning.
