I like to try to keep the basic four year cycle as simple as possible, not as a trading signal but as a general framework to keep in mind. I read a logical post in the last year or two, I will try to find it at some point on an older computer, that, as I recall, said that since there was not a significant sell off for a four year cycle bottom in 1986 or 2006, that is why the cycle skipped and one should have been looking for that significant bottom in the next year or two after that.

Vector Vest has mixed reviews from what I can see. Have you ever tried them? How about Zack's - where did you get that mid February sell signal from them?
