Hi Bonnie, I watched Louis Rukeyser tonight, and all is fine. Elves are +5 bulls. It was interesting the fellow from JPM was saying things are ok in US and Europe, but was recommending defensive stocks, like grocery stores. It just does not caculate.<ggg>

>Most mutual fund purchases now are into bond and money market funds.

I would bet you a drink that this is helping push the bonds to new highs. I currently have 45% of my portfolio in US treasuries after dumping my mutual funds and short term holdings. Same with my husband only he has 75% in treasuries. I don't think we are in the minority.

What I don't understand where is the money coming from to push the markets up like the last few days: foreigners; short covering; what else.

Joan

RE: "Somebody show me something worth buying now. ????
I could find lots of things to buy this spring."

I have quite a few stocks that I believe are currently fairly valued to moderately overvalued. I would only consider one or two to be grossly overvalued. I don't have any "bargains" for you at this time, although I do like UTEK and WEN at these levels. You are correct when you say, "... we have exceeded levels prior to the 'correction'." I believe that quite a few of my stocks were in the buy range during the correction.

Best wishes,

I2
