I've been running it for about a week with no problems. It does seem faster. I don't know what resources it requires, I never checked what IE8 took. Pleased with it so far. I should say that my computer needs (and skills) are minimal, the most demanding being a stock streamer or a movie.

For those who want to delay installing IE-9, this .REG key will block it for 12 month. . .

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

; Disable Windows 7 Internet Explorer 9.0 automatic installation
