Pat: It's not what you know but what people think you know...

There's a lot of PhD's out there who are starving... Go figure....

Bottom line: I'll take common sense over intelligence any day of the week.....(even though a bit of both doesn't hurt).

Have a great weekend..

Brief quote/copy/paste from AOL's Decision Point made me think about your statement about July '96 call.

<<There is still the potential for more selling on Monday to retest Friday's lows, but we now have some pretty encouraging signs that a short-term rally is close at hand. First, the McClellan Oscillator and STO are both very oversold. Also, both the OEX and CBOE Put Volume Indicators (PVI) gave BUY Signals on Friday. This is the first CBOE PVI BUY Signal since July 1996. I am not as happy with the volume indicators. Both the CVI and STVO need to be more oversold to give solid BUY Signals, but they can easily support a rally.
