oil price in $US has more than tripled in 10 years. Let's say it's up 3x, then it's up only 50% in Swiss Franks [because if oil were 2x in $US, the Swiss would see no increase in Franks because the Frank has doubled in value compared to the $US].

There is a difference between the currency indices and exchange rate - which I don't understand. The exchange rate in 10 years has changed by 2x, but $XSF:$USD is up 3x
