I am all for a flat tax that removes all deductions and credits. A flat tax of, say, 12% for conservatives/libertarians and a flat 24% for liberals. Since liberals care so much more for the underpriveleged and special interests, they can put their money where their big mouths are. They'll feel twice as good about themselves, too. That is what I call a fair tax system.

Mr. Obama is being pompous!! And, attempting to make himself elite.

The use of the words----"people like me"----is one of those condescending phrases used for centuries to separate oneself from others. From food stamps to "people like me" who controls the distribution of the food stamps.
