Why is that so important to a few folks? Notice that this is not even an issue with the Republican party. In fact it is a thorn in their side, when a loud minority brings this up. So why do you think it is important for a US President, who has bigger problems at hand, to cater to the minority? There is an alternative to the suggestion you made which is that all this will go away if these good-for-nothing folks, half of whom are probably on welfare, quit their tactics.

It is common sense to do so.>> I don't think bush ever made his school records public. Probably because they were so bad. Obama may be doing the same thing. But Obama's university grades were great. Bush's were not. But to capitulate to the mindless mad dog right wing on anything is crazy. The right wing would not believe any facts. Their goal is not to understand or verify Obama's birth, their goal is to destroy Obama and facts mean nothing. This whole birther issue is pornographic and a perfect metaphore for what is wrong with this country. The right wing is taking this country right down the drain with their anti intellectual behavior. E.g. Rick Perry enacting legislation to pray for rain!
